Upon death during active RP, your character does not actually die (unless you decide to permanently kill off your character), but you are not allowed to return to the scene of your death for at least 15 minutes. Any loot you may have dropped is now forfeit, up for grabs by anyone and you should not expect to have it returned. Your character forgets all events leading up to your death. Details about how, where, and who killed you may not be released. You may choose to RP an injury to account for the event.
New Life Rule does not apply to solo gameplay outside of active roleplay. Should you die while farming or outside of an RP situation, you can automatically attempt to return to your body. Please be wary of running nude past other players that may be engaging in RP.
If you are accidentally killed in a RP-PVE situation (lag spike, glitch, misfire, random animal attack, etc) you may choose to return to RP when appropriate. Remember to supply a reasonable explanation for what happened or pretend that nothing occurred.
Should you die during PvP you cannot return to the scene to continue battle unless it is a formal War or has been amended by specific server rules. Any items or gear that you may have dropped is now enemy loot; Do not go back for it.
You may choose to return to an RP PvP situation following a death only for the sake of prisoner RP. When returning, you must act act unconscious or critically injured and be submissive to any action.
Your character forgets all events leading up to your death due to injury. If a witness survives and informs you of what they saw, you can begin to remember vague details, but not the full story.
Wargames focus on the epic battle and in order to facilitate this, NLR does not activate until certain group conditions are met.
