Gallons be the new meta over Brigantines

Ok, I woke up here in Japan and enjoyed so much watching smashly and burke today. However, I want to raise this. As mentioned in the chat a look over at Ai on cannons is being looked over I will talk about two things in question was the fight I saw what happened. 

First, yes I noticed in the fight the AI on cannons, the lined up shots I saw was just, just made me feel like the naval battle that occurred was not as intense as it could be with undercrewed ships with ai on cannons. Still, the issue was more the crew on the ship that fell that was not doing things under being panicked but it left me to think of something.

If the ship lost its sails and had a crew like a ship had (full crew), would a gallon be able to last longer and maybe pull off a win? could a gallon be tweaked to be worth the effort to make and use for a crew that can man all the 26 cannons? The RP needed to build up a crew that big should want to ride in a big ship rather than a brigantine because it is the meta. I feel if some tweaks made, which personally I have no idea what tweaks to be made, from turning speed, resource cost, etc. 

So in point, if I may say if a company say said person with the crew they met in RP and had the ability to have 26 people on cannons for a gallon, can we please make gallon be made worth it to sail, cause if you get that many people on a ship, it be a waste to use a brig cause its meta. Only after to figure the AI on cannons. I say if you get enough people to man a gallon, it should be something people want to make then! 

FOR RP AND SHIP BATTLES!

If this was possible I would go for it. if no one here on twitter, Smashley tweeted this, and yes she is AN AMAZING programmer I watched her programming streams, her experience too would be a great help
 
"I did a lot of programming with Physics and AI aiming on ships with my own pirate game to make them not so accurate. When i first programmed it, I had the physics calculated to apply the right force and angle to almost hit the ships every damn time... oh... like atlas does. :P"
 
However, if that is even accessible realistically. If the files to do so are err code, err, I dunno I'm just a simpleton, are not some kind of DRM locked bs. 

But back to the topic, even if you ran a skeleton crew on a Gallon with its current ability in turning and moving and with the resource demands, which I know makes sense since its the biggest ship in the game, it still undesired! A whole level of character shipbuilding development is being wasted and RP of fear of gallon is going underused. 

Ok honest seeing them in-game makes me think of the times in NYC seeing the old colonial (Atlas ships based on) docked on the east side and on the west side visiting the aircraft carrier, now museum, my dad worked on. Yes maybe I should play war of battleships, but that is not the point, the point is I really enjoy seeing them. Well, I got a one that a bar to look at every day at least ^_^
